Our Expert Team
Kate Rose
Kate Ewing graduated from King’s College with a first-class science degree. Kate then moved into journalism with a focus on travel, food, and health. She subsequently became an editor, editing at an independent publisher. From here she began to write non-fiction and began with a book on heart disease and stroke, utilising her science degree. Kate has always written fiction, however, and her short stories have been published on the Five Stop Short Story App, Jotters United, Volume 11, Don't Do It Mag, the online Fish Anthology and the EDWG anthologies.
Kate's historical fiction novel, The Angel and the Apothecary was long-listed for the Aurora Metro International Novel writing prize and the Mslexia Novel Writing competition. After completing an MA in Creative and Life Writing at Goldsmiths, Kate turned to the craft of biography and memoir writing and has written for many different people, from politicians to celebrity singers and has been a ghostwriter for a number of clients.
Kate decided to set up ER Publishing's writing services to assist those unable to find publication through traditional routes. Kate and her team work with clients in both a coaching capacity and as a ghost. Her desire is to help budding writers or those drowning in rejection slips, to fully mine their vision and fulfil their creative dreams. In addition, she provides a quality end product: a book you can be proud of.
